I am an experienced Agriculture Officer currently working at the Nepal Agriculture Co-operative Central Federation Limited (NACCFL). I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture from the Institute of Agriculture and Animal Science, Tribhuvan University, Nepal.

I have led and supported multiple agriculture-based projects. In my current role, I manage the market component of the CASA (Commercial Agriculture for Smallholders and Agribusiness Programme) project, coordinating with agriculture cooperatives across Madhesh and Lumbini provinces. I facilitate field training, workshops, and report generation, contributing to improved market access and post-harvest management training for small-scale farmers. I also contributed to an FAO nutritional survey in Nepal’s Bardiya district, focusing on the health of pregnant and lactating women.

My research includes studies on organic agriculture, drought tolerance in rice, and heat stress tolerance in wheat, with publications in journals like the International Journal of Environment, Agriculture, and Biotechnology. I also have experience as a Plant Science Instructor, where I taught plant science fundamentals and practical skills.

I have held roles in financial management as a Finance Officer at IAAS World, overseeing budgeting and investment decisions. I have coordinated projects on socio-economic development and environmental sustainability, including the “Uplift Mahuwari Village” project and “Hariyo Pusta,” an environmental initiative.

I have attended conferences on global agricultural challenges, such as water scarcity in Morocco, and completed training in hydroponics and ICT for agriculture. I am affiliated with organizations like the YOUNGO Agriculture Working Group and IAAS, and have received various scholarships and awards throughout my academic and professional career.
